Our certified dulse products are regulated and supported by Ireland’s leading organic certification body, the Irish Organic Association (IOA).  The IOA have been at the forefront of the organic movement in Ireland since it was established in 1982, almost forty years ago.  The Irish organic association continuously engage with the European Union in regards to organic regulations.  The IOA are the preferred choice for organic certification in Ireland today.

We are very proud of our organic license.  We continue to work closely with the association to ensure that we are utilising the most up to date processes, following the organic regulations.  The IOA visit our factory yearly to carry out audits to ensure that we are an organic processing facility producing amazing certified organic sea vegetable products.

We process our sea vegetables in a food registered facility that is governed by the Irish state  Processing food in a government registered facility is considered best practice for many reasons.  Its imperative that we adhere to strict  safety and quality standards set by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland FSAI.  

We are committed to compliance and regulation of our processes to meet local and national regulations.  This ensures correct food processes, labeling, hygiene standards and the storage of our sea vegetables are up to date.  Compliance with the rules helps ensure that the food produce that we work with is handled to standards and protects you, our customers and meets European legal requirements. 

We also have traceability and accountability processes that we work towards daily.  We maintain records of our operations, ingredient sourcing, production and distribution channels.  Having traceability practices in place helps to identify and recall products in case of safety concerns.  Thankfully to date we have never had any food recalled, we are very proud of this.  We only work with 100% raw seaweed produce, with no other ingredient introduced whatsoever.  You will always get 100% pure sea vegetables.
